Global distribution of chronic hepatitis B virus infection (CHB) in 2019. The map shows the estimated prevalence of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) among the general population aged 1 year and older. Prevalence is categorized into six groups: very low (<0.5%), low (0.5-1.9%), moderate (2.0-4.9%), high (5.0-7.9%), very high (>=8.0%), and no data. The data source for this map is the World Health Organization (WHO). DALY=disability-adjusted life-year. HBV=hepatitis B virus.
