The ON state conductance decreased by a factor of 4 after >2,000 actuation cycles and 6 months of magnet aging at room temperature; we attribute the reduction to a decrease in magnetic strength of the permanent magnets and wear on the TIM (see inset image), both of which decrease the interfacial thermal conductance.
