According to the cleavage of a fluorogenic substrate in live cells, ara-C treatment stimulated caspase-3 activity in OCI-AML2 cells (5 μM) but not OCI-AML3 cells (15 μM) after 8 h. Camptothecin (CPT) was used as positive control. Averaged values ± SD for n = 3 biological replicates are shown.
