Ubiquitous expression of AtOPL2-VENUSin Marchantia (pMpEF1-AtOPL2-VENUS). Transgene silencing occurred frequently (94/102 regenerants), resulting in morphologically normal plants with differentiated cell types like air pores (white asterisks) and no VENUS signal.
