The circular arena was populated with eight distinct odor clouds (orange, almond, peanut butter, banana, baby powder, vanilla, rose, and eucalyptus), one of which was placed in the center; the remaining seven were distributed in the periphery at a distance of 40 virtual meters (vm) from the center. The radius of the arena was set to 50 vm.
