Trend in TX7d based on air (TX7d Air ) and soil temperatures (TX7d Soil ), the difference between absolute values of trends in soil and air (Abs. TX7d Soil - TX7d Air ), and the difference between trends where both trends are positive (Incr. TX7d Soil - TX7d Air ). The TX7d index is defined as the mean value of daily maximum temperatures over the hottest week per year. Results are obtained from meteorological stations. Dots indicate areas with significant trends above the 90% confidence level.
