Schematic of the experimental set-up. Laser pulses with central wavelengths of 800, 1,500 or 1,800 nm are focused onto a flat liquid jet to generate high harmonics. The generated high harmonics pass through a slit into the extreme-ultraviolet spectrometer that disperses and records the different harmonic orders.
