Evolution of the amplitude of each element versus the iteration number, in units of the largest injected current (150 nA). The final current configuration is reached after 15 to 20 iterations, when the amplitudes no longer change as a function of the iteration number. This final current configuration shows an exponential decay as a function of the lead index, from 6 to 1 (from dark to light blue), which is a direct manifestation of the non-Hermitian skin effect in experiment (Methods).
