Control or DCAICAM-1mice were injected intrafootpad with aDEC-205:OVA plus aCD40 18 h after OT-I CD45.1 intravenous transfer. DC-T cell conjugates were isolated 24–30 h later from popliteal LNs and analyzed by gating on doublets composed of cDCs (CD11chighMHCIIhighcells) and CD45.1 OT-I cells (CD3+, CD8+). Note absence conjugates in mice that were injected with PBS and reduction in conjugate numbers in DCAICAM-1versus control mice.
