Heatmaps depict log 2 -transformed relative expression of MMR and BER genes in cell types of putamen, calculated based on DESeq2-normalized counts from six to eight control donors. Genes identified as HD age at onset-modifying candidates or known to influence CAG tract instability in HD mouse models are marked with an asterisk or arrowhead, respectively.
