Week 0 represents the first week after Chinese regulations came into play (that is the week commencing 1 November 2019). Overall, there appears to be an approximately linear decay in an individuals likelihood to engage in heavy gaming during the period under analysis. The shaded area represents a 95% CI. CIs are plotted using the default visualization package for big additive models within Rs mgcv package and represent an area two standard errors above and below the smooth that was plotted.
