Serum chemistry test, indicated no significant liver toxicity or kidney toxicity after administration of UCB to mice. Liver function related parameters: alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total protein (TP), albumin (ALB), total bilirubin (TB), alkaline phosphatase (ALP); kidney function related parameters: blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine (CREA), uric acid (UA). Data are expressed as mean + SEM. A two-tailed Student’s t-test was used to compare tumor volume, tumor weight, body weight, and chemistry values between each treated group and the control group. A two-tailed Mann Whitney test was used to compare the number of mitotic cells between each treated group and the control group.
