Reactions between 1 and BhpNC generate a mixture of three products, namely aluminaaziridine 2, bimolecular coupling products 3 and 4. Each of them were isolated under optimized (solvent, stoichiometry) conditions. Solid state structures are given with 50 % probability ellipsoids; solvent and most H atoms are omitted for clarity.
