The formation of polysulfides is directly dependent on particle concentration (0, 1, 3, and 9 µg mL-1) and oxygen (0, 21, 100%). The slope of the curve for 100% O2 saturates with 9 µg mL-1possibly due to substrate limitation or excessively high background oxidation by the dissolved oxygen leading to incomplete saturation of the nanoparticle.
