In the context of climate change and its increasing impact on human health and well-being, there is a notable underrepresentation of health expertise in climate change assessments and policy responses. This gap raises concerns, especially considering that those most affected by climate change (MAPA) often experience the most significant health burdens. Without adequate health expertise, there is a risk of overlooking critical health implications and failing to implement effective strategies to protect vulnerable populations. Addressing this disparity is essential to ensure that climate change policies and interventions prioritize and safeguard the health of all individuals, particularly those who are most at risk.
