24 h after transfection, HEK293T cells were labeled for 15 min with [35S] methionine-cysteine (the transfection protocol is described inFigure S7B) and chased for the indicated periods. The metabolically labeled NHKs were immunoprecipitated with an alpha1-antitrypsin-specific antibody and subjected to R SDS-PAGE. The means +- SDs are shown (n = 3).
