Statistical analysis indicated that the rod region volumes could not be distinguished from each other (unpaired t test, t(94) = 1.179, p = 0.2415, n = 48), whereas the bulbous end volumes for ABA and Fc-treated samples were different (unpaired t test with Welch’s correction, t(186.2) = 4.881, p ≤ 0.0001, n = 96).
