Histogram from Scientific Research

Histograms of word frequencies from the NO trial (top) and the O trial (bottom) of an example session with 26 simultaneously recorded cells. Each histogram shows how many times each unique word appeared during each trial, in each distance bin. The words are indexed from 1 to 100 (only the 100 most frequent words in the NO trial are plotted). All distributions are sorted according to how frequently each word occurred in the NO trial. For this reason, distributions from the NO trial are decreasing (top) while distributions from the O trial have more arbitrary shapes (bottom). This also means that indices of words match between top and bottom (word #1 at the top is the same as word #1 at the bottom).
