Comparison of a CUL1/RBX1-SKP1/SKP2 crystallographic structure, PDB:1LDK. In the absence of CAND1, the same loop is ordered and forms part of the CUL1-SKP1 interface. Note that in the latter model SKP1 is a deleted construct (red arrowhead refers to deleted residues 38–43).
