For WT x WT, n = 63 for 0 days post mating; n = 66 for 4 days post mating; n = 59 for 8 days post mating; n = 56 for 12 days post mating; n = 62 for 16 days post mating. For LAP1 -/- x WT, n = 57 for 0 days post mating; n = 56 for both 4 days post mating and 8 days post mating; n = 55 for 12 days post mating; n = 57 for 16 days post mating. The q -value was calculated by comparing the experimental group with the 0 days post mating group.
