Propagating initially polarized spin populations using a toy Monte Carlo model to capture stochastic spin flips reveals spatially segregated domains, which, when binned using a Gaussian kernel density estimator, closely resemble the experimentally uncovered spin-polarized domains that invert with inverting the pump helicity.
