Testing for light-dependent transcriptional activity in ZF9-AsLOV2 variants. HEK293T cells were transfected with the indicated ZF9-AsLOV2 expression plasmid as well as a reporter plasmid harboring a ZF9-specific promoter driving GFP. Three biological replicates for ZF9, ZF9-LOV C1 and ZF9-LOV C2 conditions both in light and dark, two biological replicates for the rest conditions were measured Error bars (only when n = 2) indicate mean SEM.
