Single-neighbor, intra-socket messages on an ARM Cavium ThunderX2 CPU. The experiment involves six processes exchanging messages bi-directionally in three pairs. The measured times and model estimates are plotted with dotted and solid lines against the “middle” message size ss. Pairs 0, 1 and 2 exchange, respectively, 2s, s and s/2 bytes of data.
