Horizontal and vertical maps of the lithiation states graphite, LiC12, and LiC6of an ice templated graphite electrode at 33% SoC using neutron Bragg edge imaging. The 3D reconstructions indicate inhomogeneous phase distributions with the highest lithiation degree close to the lithium-metal counter electrode.
