Manhattan Plot from Scientific Research

A TWAS of neutrophil counts was performed by applying GALA II/SAGE models trained in African Americans and GTEx v8 to summary statistics from a GWAS meta-analysis of individuals of African ancestry (n = 13,476) by Chen et al. 32 . All genes with FDR < 0.05 are labeled, except for chromosome 1 in b due to the large number of statistically significant associations. Significantly associated genes for which expression levels could not be predicted using GTEx v8 elastic net models are highlighted in red.
