Sciatic nerve crush injury (i), arrowhead in (ii) shows resulting lesion. Injury was followed by (iii) direct injection proximal to the injury, of a single dose of dH 2 O or 1938 (5 M in sterile H 2 O) and (iv) minipump implantation for continuous delivery of dH 2 O or 1938 (100 M in sterile H 2 O) for 21 days.
