PSE values in experiment 1 from systolic (red) and diastolic (blue) conditions, across modality conditions. Labels in gray indicate the main effects and interactions of the repeated-measures ANOVA, n = 28. The cardiac phase influenced PSEs without interaction by modality. Systolic durations were underestimated, whereas diastolic durations overestimation. The dots represent individual data while the boxplots reprsent group-level data (median and quartiles).
