Principal-component analysis (PCA) reveals clustering of human, chimpanzee, and macaque iAstrocyte profiles of chromatin openness by species. Filtered ATAC-seq reads were counted within genomic intervals corresponding to peaks detected in at least one species that were also alienable between the three genomes (a minimum of 50% of the peak interval was transferable between genomes;n= 224,411 regions). PCA was performed after data normalization (DESeq2).
