Isolates were collected either from people with AD (green), the nares of healthy individuals (white), or from a variety of other diseases, including bloodstream, bone/joint, and soft-tissue infections (brown). When multiple isolates were available from a subject, only the isolate with the highest number of available reads was analyzed.
