Genomic distance between regions calculated by presence of somatic mutations and LOH. Genomic distances between pairs of identical (same) growth pattern regions and different growth pattern regions were compared. Each point represents a distance between a pair of regions in a tumor, and the number of regional pairs is shown under each group. 53 tumors containing regions with both different growth pattern pair(s) and same growth pattern pair(s) were included in the analysis. The center line is the median, box limits represent upper and lower quartiles, and whiskers represent 1.5 times the interquartile range. P values were calculated using a linear mixed-effects model, with tumor as a random effect.
