GluN1-GluN2B NTD heterodimer interface comparisons between the GluN1-N2B di-eNMDAR and GluN1-N2A-N2B tri-eNMDAR (upper panel) or ifenprodil-bound recombinant structure (bottom; PDB:3QEL34). The models were superimposed with GluN1-R1 lobes and the relative rotation angles of the GluN2B-R1 lobe from the di-eNMDAR to tri-eNMDAR or ifenprodil-bound state are displayed. The COM distance changes between GluN1-3 and GluN2B-2 where ifenprodil binds are shown.
