The pair contribution G(V)-G(0){e}^{-V/{V}_{sat}} (same colour code as in a), reveals the affine approximation scaling of the Schwinger conductance (equation 4) with G 0 ≃ 0.18 ± 0.02 mS and {V}_{S}=0.7{V}_{g}+0.15{V}_{g}^{2}. The Zener regime is signalled by a sharp increase of pair conductance above the Schwinger–Zener boundary (dotted black line) set by G S ( V = V Z = 1.9 V g ).
