RIXS line scans obtained at the resonance energy for the vibrational peaks arising from O 2 (531.5 eV). The electron-hole feature appears intense after one day in the XAS and RIXS but diminishes over time. Concurrently, features attributed to molecular O 2 increase in intensity with time, implying the delocalized electron holes gradually condense to form stable O 2 molecules.
