Comparison of synthetic moire images generated by Perez et al. [63], Zhang et al. [11] (sigma =4.848), Fan et al. [64] (sigma =3.347), Szeliski et al. [65] (nu_{1}=0.5) and the proposed method. sigma is the standard deviation of the Gaussian filter. nu_{1} is the relative scaling coefficient for mixing two images. The sample with the best visual appearance in [11,64], and [65] is selected for fair comparison.
