The map represents the field correlations computed between the Ventina site chronology (orange circle) against gridded 30' resolution modelled snow cover duration as derived by 1951–2018 instrumental data. This period represents the common timespan for daily meteorological series for the whole domain. The blue box in the inset map shows the location of the region represented with reference to central Europe.
