An implicit metric for memory usage. Successfully copying an object requires using two representational attributes in memory: identity for pick-up and location for placement. Counting successful pick-ups (i.e., identity attribute used) and placements (i.e., location attribute used) between model viewings provided a metric for the number of attributes used in memory.
