Workflow from Scientific Research

During the temporally extended object copying task in VR, 32 participants copied an arrangement displayed in a model display by selecting realistic objects from a resource pool and placing them into a workspace. To make them more distinctive, each arrangement was paired with an image of a scene (context) that was displayed behind the workspace. Participants were not explicitly informed about the function of the scene. All 8 objects depicted in the model display had to be copied within 45 s (see also Figure S1 for an overview of average completion time).
