Geographical distribution of allS pyogenescases and sequenced genomes across the tropical, hyperendemic Top End of the Northern Territory of Australia (highlighted in orange) and four hospital networks within the temperate cities of Melbourne and Sydney in southeast Australia. The pie charts show the total number of clinical cases and are centred over the cities of Darwin (in the Top End), Melbourne, and Sydney. An additional 122 genomes from central Australia (shaded in grey) were provided for genomic context but were not included in clinical or epidemiological analyses.
