In the linear form, H1 and H2 are extended and directionally aligned (PDB:7JYY, chains B and D), while in the fold-back conformation, H1 folds-back onto H2, as seen in the apo structure of nsp10 (PDB:6ZCT36) or when bound to nsp14/RNA complex (PDB:7N0B).
