Interaction between LZY3 (LZY3-YN) and RLD3 (RLD3-YC) as detected by bimolecular fluorescence complementation upon transient expression in N. benthamiana leaves with or without C4. Images were taken at 2 dpa. Laser intensity was kept equal during image acquisition for all samples. Scale bar, 20 μm.
