Microscopy from Scientific Research

HeLa cells were transfected for 24 h with empty vector or TfR-pHuji-WT in combination with 4xFYVE-GFP (to identify phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate [PI(3)P]), fixed and processed for immunofluorescence. The histogram on left shows number of 4xFYVE-GFP dots (PI(3)P) per cell. The histogram on right shows colocalization of PI(3)P dots with LC3. Line scan histogram shows profile of colocalization of TfR-FYVE(PI(3)P)-LC3 present in the insert. Data are mean ± SD (n= 3, graphs represent means from three independent experiments).
