The calculated oxygen content and distribution based on CT scans on anode side at 1, 2, and 3 A cm-2in AEMWEs for PTE. Y = 0 indicates the interface between anode and AEM. The O2content represents the ratio between volume of oxygen and volume of pores in PTL. 3 M CsOH was used as electrolyte to increase X-ray attenuation and provide better contrast. Electrolyte was only fed to anode side during measurement.
