A variation in H-maze with independent arms. Four balls moving at a constant and identical speed enter four independent arms simultaneously. Upon entry, an auditory cue is played, and the balls become invisible. The balls continue to move inside their respective arm and reverse direction every time they reach an end. A second auditory cue is played when one of the balls, chosen at random, is at one end of its respective arm (left or right). Subsequently, participants are presented with four options and must choose the arm in which the ball is at its endpoint. Participants receive a binary visual feedback at the location of their choice.
