Fourteen SNPs associated with serum homocysteine (xaxis;n= 44,147 people) were compared against the association of the same variants with (H) IOP (n= 139,555 people) by Mendelian randomization (MR). Across all 4 MR analysis methods (inverse-variance weighted [IVW], weighted median, MR-Egger, and MR-PRESSO), increased homocysteine was not associated with a significant change in any glaucoma and retinal outcome measures (p> 0.05).
