In a PCA of only Korean individuals, the Haenyeo cluster with other JEUs, and all Jeju residents separate from mainland Koreans. FSTvalues indicate that the Jeju Island populations are approximately panmictic, sharing an ancestral population, and distinct from the Korean mainland populations.
