MCF10A cells were exposed to DMSO or 5 μg/mL tunicamycin alone for 6 h or simultaneously exposed to tunicamycin and the MG-132 proteasome inhibitor (1 μM) and analyzed by quantitative proteomics (see alsoTable S2). A heatmap of Zq values (spectra, peptide, and protein values are integrated, and their deviation from average values obtained across samples is then expressed as normalized to the variability for each sample; seeSTAR Methods) of all three replicas per condition is shown. Three protein groups are highlighted: centrosomal proteins (1), non-centrosomal microtubule proteins (2), and canonical ER stress markers (3).
