Volcano Plot from Scientific Research

Volcano plots show log2FC vs. -log10(FDR) for analyses focused on the age effect (H). Red denotes genes with a significant effect (FDR < 0.05). Only a subset of differentially expressed genes may be labeled to avoid cluttering. Note that only genes with a gene symbol annotation are included in the volcano plots to provide gene name labels instead of Ensembl IDs.
