Workflow from Scientific Research

Self-supervision setup. The DreaMS neural network is provided with a pair of spectra (blue) from the same LCMS/MS experiment along with their precursor m / z values (purple). A portion of m / z ratios in both spectra is masked (red), and the model is trained to reconstruct these values by predicting a probability distribution over m / z ratios for each mask. Additionally, the model learns to predict the retention order of the two spectra (that is, the probability that t 2 > t 1 ).
