Previous studies performing spatial-RNA-seq in the CMZ have reached 91 days gestation.14 In this study we conduct scRNA-seq at the late time point of 185 days equivalent gestation, histological observations of 238 day gestation tissues, and in vitro observations of replication in the CMZ until 2.5 months of postnatal development. Mouse development is displayed in days. Chick and other avian CMZ proliferation has been observed at 3 months8 and 1 year,38 respectively. Frog and zebrafish continue to proliferate until adulthood.
