Ion current recordings from a lipid bilayer in symmetrical 200 mM (cis/trans) NaCl solution at Vm = 50 mV after addition of a <1 L droplet of Hla at 10 ng/mL at t = 0. Within 3 min, =20 Hla pores incorporated into the bilayer. Insert shows the corresponding ion current amplitude histogram at Vm = 50 mV.
